Avoid heat, working out, swimming, hot tubs, and sexual activity for the first 24-48 hours.
Beginning 48 hours after your wax, gently exfoliate the area 3 -4 times a week. What you use is up to your personal preference, but a bath poof, scrubby cloth or gloves work well. A dry brush before your shower is also a great alternative. This will help keep ingrown hairs from developing.
Another great product to fight ingrown is Tendskin, a salicylic acid roll on that'll be your daily driver to keep the bumps at bay . This can be purchased from me at the time of your appointment for $24, and will last 2-3 months with daily use.
If you’re dry, an unscented moisturizer used post shower will help.
If you go to the gym, run, or do hot yoga regularly make sure you get out of all your wet work out things (including underpants) immediately after you’re done as damp, tight clothing can encourage ingrown hairs and irritation.
