HYGIENE

a fresh pair of gloves and single-use (never double dipped) spatulas are used for all waxing services. the table is covered with fresh exam paper and is disinfected between clients to ensure no cross contamination. wet wipes are also provided for clients to freshen up before we get started

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

to reduce discomfort, try taking an Advil 30 minutes prior to your appointment

a warm shower and gently exfoliating the area prior to service can help set the stage for an easier waxing experience

caffeine and alcohol immediately before service can cause the skin to be extra sensitive. try to avoid stimulants right before your appointment

avoid hot yoga, baths, going to the gym, steam rooms / tanning immediately before and for 24 hours after your treatment

use of medications such as Accutane or Retin-A may cause the skin to lift. please mention if you are taking these medications

IS MY HAIR LONG ENOUGH?

hair must be at least 1/4" long (about the length of a grain of rice). if you’ve been shaving, you’ll need to wait at minimum 3 weeks to get waxed - coming in for a wax too soon with uneven hair growth can result in stubble being left behind

WHAT IF I HAVE MY PERIOD?

no problem! just make sure you have a tampon or keeper cup in and we’re good to

AFTERCARE

beginning 48 hours after your wax, exfoliate the area in the shower using a bath poof, gloves, or scrubby cloth 3 -4 times a week. if you go to the gym, run, or do hot yoga make sure you get out of all your wet work out things (including underpants) as damp, tight clothing can encourage ingrown hairs and irritation

CONTRAINDICATIONS TO TREATMENT

not recommended if you have an active eye illness, infection, are allergic to hair dyes, or have eczema around the eyes. if you are pregnant results cannot be guaranteed

SO WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

first your eye is cleansed to remove any makeup residue and oils, then hydrogel eye pads containing collagen, vitamin c, and aloe extract are placed under the eye to hold your lower lashes out of the way. using silicone pads your lashes are separated and formed into a natural looking curl before being set in place with 3D lifting and setting lotions to create a brighter, fuller, wide eyed look. your lash lift will last 6-8 weeks with none of the fuss that comes with having extensions .

HOW SHOULD I PREP FOR TREATMENT?

please arrive make up free. if you wear contacts they must be removed, so bringing a container and some solution to keep them in during your service is recommended as these are not provided

WHAT DO I DO POST TREATMENT?

for best results your lashes should remain dry and clean for 24 hours post treatment. try not to sleep on your face or touch them excessively in this time period as well so they remain in the direction they’ve been trained in while the lift settles. after 24 hours you may return to your normal routine

WILL THIS TREATMENT DAMAGE MY LASHES?

your lash lift is performed with the utmost care and proper technique. if you care for your lashes as instructed post treatment they’ll look beautiful and feel healthy until it’s time for your next appointment
