Established in 2015, The Body Politik was born to fill a need for Body Positive and Queer / Trans friendly self-care services in Vancouver. 

Pricing services based on anatomy rather than gender, respecting pronouns, and creating an environment free of negative body talk are some of the ways we provide a safer space for folks from all walks of life to access self-care services. 

Respect for differing gender presentation, pronouns, size, and background is essential. Inclusion is the core of our business, so a belief that we are all deserving of respect and care is a must!

You have:

• · Experience waxing in a high volume studio. High level Brazilian waxing skills are a must! 
• · Proficiency with both hard and soft wax. 
• · Ability to work autonomously: keeping inventory, cleaning, problem solving and organization skills, with a high standard in service, sanitation, and hospitality. 
• · A strong work ethic: you are punctual, meticulous, and always put your best face forward - you want your clients to have a great experience and it shows!
• · The ability to work Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with some flexibility for vacation and sick coverage.

You get:

• · $21 - $25 an hour depending on skill set.
• · 15% commission on product sales.
